A small roastery, roasting by the shore of Chikura in Minamiboso.
Near the southern tip of the Boso Peninsula, along the east coast of Chikura, stands Botarhythm Coffee Roastery. Warmth carried on a sea breeze blessed by the Kuroshio current, and a faint scent of the tide. They reach this place and wrap the hours of roasting softly.
In harmony with nature, from here I deliver coffee beans that keep quiet company with your everyday life.
The Place
The Kuroshio, the sea breeze,
and the soft rhythm of light.
Held between the sea and the satoyama hills of Chikura, I watch the flame of the roaster with the presence of the tide close by. The rhythm this land keeps carries straight through into the background of a single cup.
Warmth carried on a sea breeze blessed by the Kuroshio current, and a faint scent of the tide. They reach the roastery and give rise to a comfortable space.
The roaster is set inside a small garage by the sea. I open the wooden sliding door, line the beans up on the shelves, and spend my days facing the roasting flame.
Botarhythm Coffee Roaster began in February 2018, and from December 2019 started roasting and shipping in earnest from its base in Chikura. From here, I aim for a cup that keeps company with a daily life that moves back and forth between nature and the city.

Parking
Please always park alongside the building.
All the surrounding space is private land, so parking there is strictly not allowed. The shop and the parking area are both limited. When it is full, please help us out by shifting your visit a little later.
