Frequently asked questions
Here are the questions Botarhythm receives most often.
If anything remains unclear, please reach out through the contact form or Instagram.
I am not sure which beans suit my taste.
A. Botarhythm helps you find the coffee that fits you in four ways.
On each product page, a simple two-axis graph shows the character of the beans at a glance.
A radar chart visualizes five characteristics, so you can see the personality of each bean in detail.
- AcidityA fruity, refreshing impression
- SweetnessA gentle sweetness and lingering finish
- BitternessRich depth and strength
- BodyDepth and a full mouthfeel
- AromaThe richness of the bean's own fragrance
Each product page lists the roast level (light to dark) and origin information as tags. For more on roast levels, please see the explainer article.
Reviews from people who have actually enjoyed the coffee appear on each product page. You can also browse them all on the reviews page, so look for impressions close to your own taste.
Should I store coffee beans at room temperature or in the freezer?
A. Coffee continues to mature after roasting, and the flavor shifts day by day. To let you enjoy that change, I generally recommend storing beans at room temperature in a sealed container.
Botarhythm sets the best-before period at 90 days after roasting (individually packaged products excepted). If you will open the bag more than one month after purchase, keeping it sealed and stored in the freezer can slow the loss of flavor.
For more on freshness, see this journal article.
Do you have beans for espresso?
A. Yes. The original blend Touch the Earth in particular works very well for espresso.
Even with the same beans, the flavor nuances drawn out differ by brewing method, whether hand drip, nel drip, or espresso. Exploring those differences is one of the joys of coffee, so please try a variety of methods.

- Weekends and holidays
- 11:00 〜 15:00
