[The monthly omakase subscription]
Each month, roaster Nobuaki Motozawa selects two coffees from the beans that are at their very best right then and sends them to you. 250g each, 500g in all. Following the direction of the "taste" you choose, he pairs two well-matched coffees from that month's stock.
At the root of the name Botarhythm lies a scene in which coffee and daily life layer over one another, and plants slowly weave time. The organic flow of time from origin to roasting, unhurried and not overly reliant on machines, is delivered just as it is, as a cup for each month.
[How to choose your taste]
Fruity: centered on bright fruit and floral aromatics. A light expression leaning toward light roast.
Mild & Bitter: a balance of toastiness and richness. Slightly deeper, with a settled, calm bitterness.
Mixed: when you cannot give up either the acidity or the bitterness. A pairing that lets you choose the character by your mood on the day.
[Grind]
Whole bean: grind just before brewing on your home mill, for the aroma of a fresh grind.
Medium-fine grind: an all-around grind. Ready to brew as soon as it arrives.

The two coffees paired together are the roaster's choice. Requests for specific beans cannot be accepted.

You can also have your favorite coffee beans delivered together with the omakase subscription. If there is a particular coffee you would like, please contact me before ordering. Since it is sent in the same packaging as the subscription, no additional shipping is charged. The roaster arranges each one individually, by hand.
