Yirgacheffe Grade 1 Natural grows harder to source with each passing year. I am glad to be able to introduce this year's new crop once again. Slow drying lets the fruity character come through in full, a jewel of a coffee. Please do enjoy it.

Among the many coffees of the world, Yirgacheffe has won admirers everywhere for its distinctive, fruity, and clean character.
Its finest expression, Grade 1, would ordinarily become green coffee in Ethiopia through the traditional washed process.
In recent years, however, the specialty coffee world has turned its attention to natural process coffees, which carry the originality of the fruit's flesh into the green bean.
This Yirgacheffe G1 Natural takes G1-grade cherries, the highest quality, and finishes them into a clean natural: defects are meticulously removed on African beds, and over twenty days the cherries are dried slowly and evenly, with the sunlight adjusted through covering and uncovering several times a day.
