[About the origin]
Sitting at 1,800 meters in the Aberdare Range west of Mount Kenya, the Nyeri region is blessed with high altitude, a cool climate, and fertile land, giving its coffee a more fruit-forward character than other parts of Kenya.
Geographically it is exceptionally favored: the volcanic-ash soil is rich in organic matter, drains well, and holds air beautifully, an ideal environment.
In this relatively cool area, the wide swing between day and night temperatures in particular ripens the cherries slowly, providing exactly the conditions for coffee cherries packed with sweetness.
